Who I am
Hi, I’m Anna—and if you’re looking for a perfectly polished yoga teacher who floats around speaking only in whispers, I’m probably not your person.
But if you’re craving something real… welcome! You’re in the right place.
I’ve been teaching yoga for over 18 years, practicing for 20, and what I’ve learned is that healing doesn’t come from pretending to be peaceful. It comes from being messy, showing up anyway, and learning how to stay with yourself through it all.
I’m not here to fix you. I’m not here to sell you some fake version of “zen.”
I’m here to walk beside you while you remember who the f*ck you are.
I’m originally from Chicago, so yes—I will definitely swear, I speak directly, and I don’t put up with bullshit. But I’ll be here holding space for you, regardless of what shows up.
I’ve lived through my own seasons of anxiety, depression, burnout, and complete disconnection from myself. I know what it’s like to do everything “right” and still feel completely lost. That’s why I do this work—not because I have it all figured out, but because I’ve learned how to meet myself honestly, and I want that for you too.
I’m also a massage therapist and pelvic health PTA, so I bring a deep understanding of the body into everything I teach. My style is grounded, intuitive, and trauma-aware.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me hiking in the woods, brewing tea with foraged herbs, listening to Björk, Nine Inch Nails, or Tori Amos, and doing my best to live in alignment with what actually matters.
If you’re craving depth, honesty, and a space where you can drop the mask and be you—you’re not alone. I’ve got you.
